Gorai Awarded NSF Grant to Advance Wurtzite Ferroelectrics
Prashun Gorai, Assistant Professor in Chemical and Biological Engineering at RPI, and his collaborators at the Colorado School of Mines and Carnegie Mellon University have been awarded a $2 million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to accelerate the development of wurtzite ferroelectrics, a class of materials with potential to transform microelectronics.

The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is seeking motivated students for our Ph.D., M.S., and M.Eng. graduate programs. With 19 core faculty, including 3 National Academy of Engineering members, graduate students in the department have an opportunity to engage in research across a range of high-impact areas, such as biotechnology, advanced materials, and energy sustainability.
