Graduate Student Groups

Graduate Student Association (GSA)

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a student run organization which coordinates a variety of activities within the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. Events include annual summer retreats to local state parks, welcoming festivities for incoming first-year graduate students, and department-wide poster sessions, among others. GSA members are also an integral part of assisting new students during the first-year experience, helping to guide them through the advisor selection process and starting their thesis work. Becoming a member of the GSA is an excellent leadership opportunity which builds organizational and communication skills that are essential in the pursuit of a graduate degree.
