Extreme Fluid Behavior in Space

If you were taught that vapor could only condense on a cooled surface, you may have to revise your opinion.  CBE researchers observe condensation on surfaces heated to temperatures at least 100 K above the normal boiling point of the liquid in experiments conducted on the International Space Station.  The paper is a Editor’s Choice in a recent edition of Physical Review Letters.
