Congratulations to Wayne Bequette for receiving the 2026 CAST Distinguished Service Award!
Wayne Bequette is a Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he is affiliated with the Center for Engineering in Precision Medicine (CEPM), a partnership with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is an AIChE Fellow, an IEEE Fellow, a Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, and a member of the Arkansas Academy of Chemical Engineers. He has been active in AIChE, the American Automatic Control Council, and Computer Aids for Chemical Engineering.
